East Lothian Wedding Photographer- Juliet and Matt

Although I am based in Edinburgh it great to travel to a wedding, this allows me some thinking time. Juliet and Matt married at Belhaven Parish Church in Dunbar, East Lothian on a warm September day and their marquee reception in the church gardens.

I brought Naa Shika along to assist with setting up and holding the flash and even the bride's bouquet, it is always helpful to have a assistant on a wedding because be quite demanding sticking to the time schedule.

To break with tradition for my blog I invited Juliet and Matt to choose their favourites of the day.

After the ceremony we took the opportunity to create some relaxed wedding portraits outside the church whist the large formal group was being prepared.

I would have chosen this one also because it just has the relaxed moment. I was a bit lucky with this image my flash didn't trigger but the quality of the Nikon D800 made this possible.

The staircase was light by light from a large window which gave me a beautiful soft light.

Edinburgh Destination Wedding

04/05/13

Swiss couple Evelyne and Fabian chose Scotland for their Spring Wedding. Their chosen venue at Haddington was not available so they held the ceremony at Dalkeith and we moved on to Edinburgh for the photos. It was Evelyne's first time in Scotland and was keen to have pictures with the castle, so we shot this at Princes Street Gardens. This panorama montage was made from 11 images and required a bit of time, but produced a fantastic wedding photograph.I will post some more on my other blog soon. Thanks for the day Ewi and Fabian. to to this blog for more images
