Edinburgh Castle

Edinburgh Castle stands at the very heart of the city centre and is an exceptional and magnificent venue for wedding day celebrations. The photographic opportunities here are many and striking, from gracious archways to deep stairwells, spectacular city backdrops from the ramparts and the infamous mighty Mons Meg. Should weather conditions prove unkind on the day group shots can be taken in the Great Hall. As the hosting venue of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo this can be an extremely busy location and it is worth bearing in mind that Scottish weddings attract a lot of attention from visitors, many of whom love to take pictures.
